Warner Bros. is looking to expand on Jared Leto’s version of the Joker, which debuted in 2016’s ” Suicide Squad,” with a movie of his own. Sources tell Variety that Leto is set to star and exec produce an untitled standalone film, paving the way for future movies branching from “Suicide Squad.”

Hands down one of the greatest stories ever told in comics. I love introducing people who don’t read comics to our world with this series. Always leaves them wanting more.
I don’t think Netflix would pass on this in fear of displacing Stranger Things since it would draw in subscribers. What I am fearing is that it won’t get the best treatment since this is the third place the creators are pitching the idea to.
