Tell me, how does this guy (Liefeld) continue to get work? His art never improves. It’s just awful.

    3. Antonio Sanciolo on July 9, 2011 10:23 am

to be fair this art is not ridiculous as the last “Infinite” promo image.

His comics must sell though; I can’t imagine why else writers and companies continue to work with him.

You can’t live with it, so go off into a corner and die. What a stupid costume, too, it’s like the artist decided to lump together everything he thought looked cool, even though it doesn’t make any sense. Belts everywhere, check (what, does Liefeld have like, a bondage fetish?). Black unitard, check. Ammo pouches to hold things but are too small to actually hold anything even though the guy isn’t carrying a gun, check. Samurai sword, check, headband, check. Goggles, check, oh wait, let’s make them cooler by putting a third lens in the middle, check…. Silly gloves, check… oh, and is that Captain Kirk’s jacket from Wrath of Khan???

How much to you want to bet that the long pieces of material hanging off the back of his head from the headband will disappear panel-to-panel much the same way Shatterstar’s three ponytails would frequently disappear? That and look at most of Liefeld’s characters, he can only draw that flowy feathered style hair, on all of his people.

    5. Rob on July 9, 2011 1:08 pm

I know what’s wrong with the costume: That dude needs more pockets.

      • applejack1310 on July 11, 2011 7:03 pm

        OK, that made me giggle.

    6. IamtheWalrus on July 10, 2011 3:28 am

I’m going to go out on a limb here, and say that (for Liefield) that doesn’t look too bad.

    7. Damascus on July 19, 2011 2:41 am

I don’t get it, are they teasing me or Threatening me?
