IDW Publishing’s Zombies vs. Robots is getting the big screen treatment, and we’ve just learned who will helm this project.
According to Variety (and confirmed by IDW’s Chris Ryall) Andrew Adamson will direct the project, which has also been renamed “Inherit the Earth”.
Based on the IDW Publishing comicbook “Zombies vs. Robots” by Chris Ryall and Ashley Wood, the story follows a group of robots who protect a young girl, the last human on Earth, from a pack of intelligent zombies.
Adamson has previously directed the Shrek movies, and the live action adaptation of The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe.
The movie is being produced by Michael bay, Brad Fuller, Andrew Form, Dave Alpert and Rick Jacobs, with Ted Adams serving as executive producer.
