    MOVIES: Godzilla Aftermath

Rob RasmussenBy Rob RasmussenJune 10, 20133 Comments1 Min Read

Videos have been leaked from the New Westminster set of Godzilla showing off Godzilla’s destruction of San Fransisco. Along with the three videos there are a large number of photos which you can see after the jump.

I told you there was a lot of pictures. Most of those are merely the rubble and wreckage of a post-Godzilla San Fransisco. That very last one, however, is the Unit Call Sheet, revealing a number of actors, roles, and props being used in the latter half of the film. Either way, I’m slowly becoming not just hopeful, but potentially excited about a new American made Godzilla film. The only thing we need to see now is Godzilla himself. The film itself doesn’t come out until May 16, 2014, so there’s still some time for that.

Everything here was initially found at ComicBookMovie.com.

“Either way, I’m slowly becoming not just hopeful, but potentially excited about a new American made Godzilla film”

I’ve mentioned it before, but I actually found some slight respect for the old American Godzilla film when it was retconned as part of the movie “Godzilla: Final Wars” where it had merely been mistaken for Godzilla by the Americans, but was actually another creature entirely (now called Zilla). Still a terrible movie, but at least I don’t feel quite so disappointed since it isn’t really Godzilla.

As for the new movie, I’m with you as well. The more I see about the movie, the more I shift from cautiously waiting to being excited.

American made, but filmed where I live here in the Greater Vancouver Area :)

I’ve seen them filming around town, mostly down in New Westminister lately.

Eeugh, there was a bug with the “Related Posts” part that obscured the actual article (It was showing hundreds of related articles) so now that I go back and actually read it, you say right there that it’s filmed in New Westminister. I’ll show myself out now…
