If you are going to see The Hobbit this weekend, and you’ve never read the source material, you may have some difficulty in keeping all the Dwarves names in check. Fortunately, the LOTR Project has you covered with a Hobbit Dwarves Cheat Sheet.
Stephen Schleicher began his career writing for the Digital Media Online community of sites, including Digital Producer and Creative Mac covering all aspects of the digital content creation industry. He then moved on to consumer technology, and began the Coolness Roundup podcast. A writing fool, Stephen has freelanced for Sci-Fi Channel's Technology Blog, and Gizmodo. Still longing for the good ol' days, Stephen launched Major Spoilers in July 2006, because he is a glutton for punishment.

It’s even simpler than that, really. See, there are only two kinds of Dwarves in the Hobbit. Thorin and everybody else. (At least as far as the book goes.) You will certainly get a little more out of it if you can differentiate the Dwarves, but really, other Thorin they’re all basically interchangeable.
