(press release) Based on the best-selling videogame, the Halo Graphic Novel reached #2 on the BookScan list of graphic novels sold in bookstores, the highest position of a non-manga, non-movie tie-in graphic novel in years. It also debuted at an impressive #33 on Amazon.com. In fact, the Halo Graphic Novel has sold so incredibly that a second print will be available within weeks.
Moonscoop and Marvel have teamed up to create a 26 episode animated series based on the Fantastic Four. It airs September 2, 2006 on the Cartoon Network. Marvel sent word to retailers yesterday that Civil War and related titles will be delayed. Civil War #4 which was to be in stores today has been pushed back to September 20th. Civil War #5 has been pushed to November 15th. If you remember the Strange Tale of Aquaman I told you about previously, then you are aware that Hollywood is all a twitter over the thought of making an underwater superhero movie. Well it looks like Marvel may have beat DC to the punch when it revealed yesterday it has licensed its Namor character to Universal Pictures for a feature motion picture that is still To Be Determined. Namor or Aquaman? Does it really matter?
