The latest star to join the Thor movie cast is Idris Elba, who will be playing Heimdall, the guardian of Asgard. Filming for the movie begins in mid-January in Manhattan Beach, California.

Looks like this movies heading down the right road really talented actors all around even for what seem like throw away rolls this movie seems like its gonna kickass the talents their hopefully Ironman 2 wont disappoint

Oh and btw people the reason this is “funny” isn’t because he’s a black Norse god..Its because Heimdall is also know as the white/pale one.
