Major Spoilers Poll of the Week
Box office sales were down 5% in 2014, but it looks like 2015 is going to be a huge year for movie studios and the theater owners. Two big movies are being released this year that fans have been talking about for a long time; The Avengers: Age of Ultron and Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens. Regardless of which movie comes out on top, the parent company, Disney is going to laugh all the way to the bank.

Disney is going to laugh all the way to the bank? They paid $4 billion each for Star Wars and Marvel Entertainment. Think it might be a bit early to assume a return on investment? Heading in the right direction but don’t think they can laugh yet.
Quesada and the crew at Marvel can laugh (if they had stock shares).
Laughing George Lucas is.
The Disney investment in Marvel has already paid off, Star Wars will pay off in the next three years if not sooner – remember, Disney is getting a huge amount of money from Star Wars toys and merchandise.
As for episode 666 it should be all about Dr. Hank McCoy. After all it is the number of the beast!
When people ask about entry points to comics, the public library is often a great place to try. Most libraries collect trades and will have a lot of things available. You mentioned Saga and Chew. I know our library system had those books, and I’m going to recommend that they purchase the Invincibles Omnibus you recommended, if they don’t have it yet.
Zach, took your recommendation and rented Force Majuere ondemand. It’s really good. Not sure it needs to be over 2 hours but we really liked it. Thanks for the review on it,it’s why we rented it.
