The Annapolis Comic-Con and Third Eye Comics have joined forces for a true Epic Win. They will be auctioning off a very limited virgin art ADVENTURE TIME #1 ANNAPOLIS COMIC-CON variant, with all proceeds going to St Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital. With only 200 printed, this sought after ADVENTURE TIME collector’s item should climb high on every fan’s wish list.
“With BOOM!’s ADVENTURE TIME comic series looking to be one of this year’s hottest releases, this seemed like a perfect way to do some good, and share our love of ADVENTURE TIME.” said Ben Penrod, of AWESOME CONS, promoters of the Annapolis Comic-Con and Southern Maryland Comic-Con.
BOOM! Studios has already sold out of the initial print run of their ADVENTURE TIME #1 comic, and with a checklist of exclusive variant covers available throughout the country, ADVENTURE TIME collectors are buzzing with excitement. Fans can bid on the item via eBay (http://bit.ly/w5hbAx) from now until Monday February 13th. There will also be plenty of the regular ANNAPOLIS COMIC-CON variant available for sale at the ANNAPOLIS COMIC-CON (http://www.annapoliscomiccon.com) on March 24th & March 25th.
When asked, Steve Anderson, owner of Third Eye Comics, had this to share, “The ADVENTURE TIME comic will be huge, and with the print runs low, and the variants being sought after, we really think this will be a great way to raise some money for one of Team Awesome-Cons and Team Third Eye’s favorite charities.”
