    After Ashley’s recommendation, I watched the first episode of What If…? on streaming this weekend, and I have to say I enjoyed it quite a bit, even if the art style wasn’t entirely to my liking.  Still, the adventure of Captain Carter was quite good, and I appreciate the fact that they haven’t gotten to the part where every installment ends with “and they all died screaming.”  It even got me thinking about my personal short list of fave-rave alternate worlds and what what if I’d like to see, leading to today’s more-hypothetical-than-usual query…

    The MS-QOTD (pronounced, as always, “misquoted”) wonders, what if What If where What For, and if not, why not, asks: What what if scenario would you most like to see on the Disney+?

    Once upon a time, there was a young nerd from the Midwest, who loved Matter-Eater Lad and the McKenzie Brothers... If pop culture were a maze, Matthew would be the Minotaur at its center. Were it a mall, he'd be the Food Court. Were it a parking lot, he’d be the distant Cart Corral where the weird kids gather to smoke, but that’s not important right now...
