As an old person, I can still remember when M&Ms didn’t have any red candies inside, due to a scare about carcinogenic dyes. But lately (thanks to my wife, who love ’em), there have been Ms in my house again, and it’s amazing how many varieties there are: Fudge brownie Ms, peanut butter Ms, pretzel Ms, clams and tobaccky Ms, the whole nine. Still, for my money, there’s nothing better than a good ol’ fashioned peanut M&M, which is not only voiced by Tenzin from ‘The Legend of Korra‘ but has the perfect balance of crunch and squish. Sadly, Mrs. Matthew loves the horrific caramel or white chocolate varieties, leading to today’s polyunsaturated query…
The MS-QOTD (pronounced, as always, “misquoted”) will eat pretty much any flavor that doesn’t try to seem sexy in the advertising, because that’s just WRONG, asking: Which variety of M&Ms is the best?

Original is best. It’s classic for a reason.
One of the worst things in Canada is realizing that “Smarties” there are M&M knock-offs instead of rolls of tiny sweet/tart wafers.
Wait…. What???? White Chocolate Variety?????? UMMMMMMM anyway you can send some to me cuz I have never seen them up here in Canada and am a white chocolate lover……
PS. I have to agree with your wife on this one, adding in the almond variety to my list.

I’ve only ever had the bag with all of them in it. They are not that big deal in here for some reason.
