Comics is a strange and unpredictable place, Faithful Spoilerites. Sometimes, you get an awesome character that nobody falls in love with, like the original android Red Tornado. Other times, you get an alien on a chrome surfboard traveling through space so that a guy with moose antlers can find a nosh, who somehow becomes a fan favorite. Whether something is sublime or ridiculous is in the eye of the beholder, but a character like Norrin Radd, The Silver Surfer is highly polarizing. For every time he exposes the flaws and folly of man, you get that moment where you have to justify the fact that he’s literally riding Moondoggie’s price possession through the cosmos, leading to today’s ten-hanging query…
The MS-QOTD (pronounced, as always, “misquoted”) thinks that it only works because of the overblown Shakespearian dialogue making it race right past silly and circle back into profound, asking: The Silver Surfer: Sublime Or Ridiculous?

Sublime.
Sublime
Ludicrously transcendent!
“Well, hey, can I have you both?”
