Amber Heard has confirmed that she will play Mera, the Queen of Atlantis and wife to Jason Mamoa’s Aquaman in two upcoming Warner Bros. flicks.
Heard confirmed the rumor with Entertainment Weekly, stating she would play Mera in Justice League Part One, scheduled to arrive in 2017, and will co-star with Momoa in 2018’s Aquaman.
Though both movies are a way off, Heard did describe her costume to the magazine.
“It’s interesting. I’m wearing, like, half suit of armor, half scales. It’s strange,” Heard said of the character’s outfit. “But we’re in the process of building it now. It’s coming along.”
Batman v Superman arrives next week (March 25th), and will kick off Warner Bros. huge DC Cinematic Universe.
