The rumor mill over The Dark Knight Rises prologue have been all over the place lately. From Bane breaking The Bat, to a parallel story featuring Batman and Bane’s respective trainings, to something… very dark. The one thing we do know is that the six to eight minute prologue will only be in select 70mm IMAX theaters, and now we have the complete list.

Yup, you read that right Spoilerites – no theaters in Kansas, Colorado, or Missouri will feature the prologue, and I for one refuse to venture into the Nebraska territory just to see the prologue (and Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol).
The Dark Knight Rises opens July 20, 2012.

Well, if it makes you feel better, the only theater listed for NE is actually in Iowa, so you don’t have to lower yourself to ourNE standards!
:D I kid… I kid…
I bet if the Major Spoilers HQ was outfitted with an IMAX screen it would show there.
How were the IMAX screens were selected – 70mm film projection only – no digital, not 35mm projection. I’m sure the Major Spoilers HQ IMAX screen would be a minimum of 70mm, but digital is so much more expensive to set up and maintain than traditional film.
No digital? Are we living in the 90s again? And if we are, where is my Gameboy Color and Pokemon Yellow?
Well that sucks, too bad there isn’t one in KC. I guess I will wait and find it on YouTube
I’m in Alaska and I won’t get to enjoy the prologue either!
Now is this just true IMAX theaters or includes the iFake theaters that have the IMAX name but are not much larger than an average screen???
MONTREAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Mokin works in Montreal!!
…Mokin is happy!
*does happy dance to the nugget and biscuit tune*
What baffles me is the seeming collaboration between distributors Warner (dkr) and Paramount (Mission impossible) here.
Isn’t this kind of like an add for the New 52 at the start of an issue of FF?
There’s only one in Tennessee and it’s over two hours away and there’s none in Georgia? What’s the deal?
