MattyCollector is showing off the packaging for the upcoming Masters of the Universe Classics Battleground Teela figure. The warrior goddess certainly looks different than her ’80s animated version, which I’m sure isn’t going to sit well with a lot of MOTU fans.

She already was released in her 80s look back in 2009. This one’s basically a much-requested variant, based on her alternative look from the old DC comics. :-)
Doesn’t look that bad to me. I’m sure some people will hate it just as people hated the variant Baroness repaints a while back, but otherwise I think it looks pretty decent.
Waitaminnit… It’s been quite a while since I was an adoring He-Man fan, but one plot point that I completely don’t remember is Teela being the heir to the Sorceress… What’s that about?
