Um. Wow. Don’t know what else to say. Not exactly a family film eh? :)

Other than some annoying plot changes, I found the film to be faithful and entertaining.

I went and saw the movie this past Friday night with my wife. We loved the movie and after it was over ran out to a bookstore to pick up the trade. We had never read it.

      Did not buy the trade.

After reading most of it in the store, we decided that we like the movie better. The art detracted from the story to much for my taste.

My only real complaints about the movie was that the first 15/twenty minutes seemed to be missing some stuff. Dialouge was there about guns shots when none had been fired, no real sense of time (other than Harnetts beard) but over all an enjoyable movie. I can’t stand the current crop of so-called “horror” movies, so the fact that I enjoyed it says a lot.

Still, give me Carl Laemmle Jr., Kurt Sidomak, Lugosi, Karloff, Chaney and Price anyday.
