Nintendo announced a new product today, the Nintendo 2DS. A new addition to the Nintendo 3DS line, the 2DS will be able to play all of the games available to the 3DS with the same online capability without the use of the 3D function. This allows Nintendo to set the initial price-tag of the 2DS at $129.99, making it a bit more affordable than its fully three dimensional counterpart. The Disney Infinity game is shaping up to be one of the most robust games slated for this fall. And with tons of classic and modern Disney characters being shown as available, it doesn’t look like there will be any problem marketing this to most people. Of course, after viewing the creation tools set in the game in the trailer below, I’d be surprised to if someone didn’t want to at least give it a try.
