It hasn’t been confirmed by Warner Bros., but the Internet is abuzz this morning with a rumor first posted on The Wrap that says the studio is already working on the next The Lego Movie.

Warner Bros. and LEGO have taken complete advantage of the properties at their disposal, first with the list of characters included in the film, but now with how they are marketing the film. We saw plenty of fan parodies of Man of Steel trailers when they started arriving last year, and now LEGO has got in on the action releasing a trailer titled “Man of Plastic”.

I missed my chance to get one of the first Lego modular city sets, and vowed never to let that happen again. That’s why I’m so excited about the recently released Parisian Restaurant. The Lego Creators created a video showing off the detail, and giving us a really detailed view of the model.

The LEGO Movie may be one of my most anticipated releases for 2014 and the wait is down to just a little over a month. Properties will collide on screen like audiences have never seen before in what will, hopefully, be one of the year’s best animated films. Continuing the films character poster driven campaign, the original superhero himself, Superman, has been given his own poster and you can check it out after the jump.
We knew that a Simpsons line of LEGO sets were coming, but we could only speculate what the sets would be of. Well we don’t have to guess as images have leaked of what the first set will be of: The Simpons’ House!
While I enjoy getting Lego as much as the next person, I don’t have the time to build really big models. Sure, I can handle an occasional 5,000 piece set, but that means I have to have a lot of free time. Lord knows what I would do with 200,000 Lego bricks. Fortunately, Alice Finch does as she recreated J.R.R. Tolkien’s Middle Earth setting of Rivendell. Two-hundred pieces. Let that sink in for a moment, then take a long look at incredible detail Alice put into this construction. Simply. Amazing.
