Originally, Warner Bros. had slated Zack Snyder’s Man of Steel Superman movie for December 2012, but now the studio has announced it is shifting the release date. The new date for Man of Steel has been set for June 14, 2013. This aligns the movie with the Summer Blockbuster season, but there’s been no official word on why the move took place.
