Thanks to this week’s Dueling Review, I’ve been ruminating about the Mirror Universe and the idea of an evil version of our favorite pop-culture heroes. Thanks to AXIS, we got to see an amoral Tony Stark, while evil Supermans are a dime a dozen, and Captain America’s evil counterpart actually took over the United States for a minute in a tortured attempt to make some sort of point about political divisions in the 2020s. With so many antiheroes and jerkfaces already, I’m hard-pressed to imagine what modern mirror stories are still left untold, leading us to today’s inverted query…
The MS-QOTD (pronounced, as always, “misquoted”) is torn between evil R2-D2 and evil Tina from Bob’s Burgers, asking: Which hero’s Evil Version would make the most horrifying villain?

The Tick. If his good-natured idiocy were evil-natured idiocy, no one would be safe.
Isn’t that basically Barry, the other The Tick?
Easy answer would be someone with godlike (or near godlike) powers, like a Scarlet Witch or Dr. Manhattan. Just a nudge in the wrong direction would alter reality. Or maybe one of the speedsters, who could slow time down enough to basically alter reality to a godlike extreme.
Who’d be the biggest a-hole if they went evil tho? Maybe Guy Gardner.
Groo The Wanderer would be pretty bad. He’s a walking disaster as is, without even trying.
