Thanks to yesterday’s review of Shuri #1, featuring the once-and-possibly-future Black Panther in her own solo adventures, I’ve been thinking about just how much I love her. Of course, all of that affection is due to the movie character and the performance of Letitia Wright, as I didn’t really love her previous comic appearances all that much. It’s a testament to how much good an actor can do for a minor player on film, as seen by Cobie Smulders’ Maria Hill, Kerry Alexander’s Alicia Masters (the only really excellent part of the 2005 FF movie) and, of course, Leslie Uggam’s Blind Al, leading us to today’s Stanislavskian query…
The MS-QOTD (pronounced, as always, “misquoted”) would love a solo book for Negasonic Teenage Warhead and Yukio in their movie incarnations, asking: Which movie character do you most want to see transition to solo comic book adventures?

Snake Eyes/Storm shadow team up. Larry Hama writing, please.
I always liked Cathy Lee Crosby’s Wonder Woman. Very much Special Agent Diana Prince and I liked that. OK, yes. It was a TV movie, But still a movie.
