We already knew that Supergirl was going to get a series commitment from CBS, but what else can we look forward to as Pilot Season begins to wrap?
ABC
- The Muppets – It’s a pilot right now, but hopefully this documentary about the real lives of muppets will be enough to capture the imagination of executives and the rest of the world will enjoy the show.
CBS
- Supergirl – Born on the planet Krypton, Kara Zor-El (Melissa Benoist) escaped amid its destruction years ago. Since arriving on Earth, she has been hiding the powers she shares with her famous cousin. But now at age 24, she decides to embrace her superhuman abilities and be the hero she was always meant to be.
FOX
- Lucifer – Based on the Vertigo seires, the Lord of Hell abandons hell and heads to Los Angeles, where he helps the LAPD punish criminals.
- Minority Report – Remember how much you loved the movie? Now it’s a pilot as we follow one of the freed Precogs as he tries to lead a normal life.
- The X-Files – Mulder and Scully are ready to do it again, because the truth is out there!
The CW
- Flash/Arrow – Though it is still in presentation mode, we know the actors, we know the characters, now we just need to see this show! Victor Garber says the show is coming in January 2016, but I hope i arrives sooner rather than later.
Obviously this list is only looking at the new shows, and we are still waiting to hear what is happening with first season shows like Constantine, but we’ll keep you updated as events warrant.

So is the Muppets thing a documentary about puppeteers or a mockumentary about Muppets lives outside of the shows and movies? Because I’d honestly be happy with either, but to be fair I am a huge fan of puppets and puppeteering methods (I have several home made puppets as well as a Muppet Whatnot) as much as I am a fan of the Muppets in general.
