During The Super Heroes of DC Panel at C2E2, DC Comics revealed new art from the upcoming Scott Snyder / Greg Capullo Dark Nights; Death Metal #1 that arrives in May 2020.
During the panel, writer Scott Snyder stopped by to talk about the series, and maybe dropped a few hints of what is to come (is that Cthulhu?).
