Major Spoilers Question of the Day: Scarred For Life Edition

Thanks to our recent discussion of live-action anime adaptations, I have been thinking about my childhood interactions with ‘Speed Racer.’  Aside from the fun mockery of American dubbing, I vividly recall the cliffhanger on one of the episodes with the Mammoth Car, wherein that selfsame vehicle is seen to drive straight at and OVER the camera, giving the impression that we, the audience, were being run over by it’s massive wheels.  Frankly, it left me scarred for life and terrified of every giant-car-made-of-gold I’ve encountered since, leading us to today’s GRX query…
