When I was young, the van was kind of a punchline, only piloted by the wrong sort of person and/or Freddie Jones. It was an unfair assertion, but there ya go. Somewhere along the line, though, they came back into fashion and even sprouted into mini-varieties, and even cool werewolf Oz from ‘Buffy The Vampire Slayer’ was seen to drive one. Inspector Gadget’s transformed into a super-car when necessary, while the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles turned their Party Wagon into a rolling arsenal, making a strong contender for the coolest van, leading to today’s shag-carpeted conversion query…
The MS-QOTD (pronounced, as always, “misquoted”) wants to lean towards B.A. Baracus, but knows that the only real answer for me is Greg Universe’s home on wheels, asking: Which van is the coolest van?

I dunno. But I do know the three coolest RVs:
1) The Landmaster from Damnation Alley
2) The Ark II
3) The EM-50 Urban Assault Vehicle (That’s a fact, jack!)
Aren’t those first two the same van? :)
Ok.
Yes.
But in the end there was only one RV that truly turned the tides of war in favor of G.I. Joe and his Green Army Men Rangers… and that’s Big Trak.

Nissan Cherry van. Because there’s a chance it could be Ratchet or Ironhide.
