There are a lot of tellers of mistruths in our favorite stories: Barney Stinson. Lex Luthor. Light Yagami. All have a legitimate claim to being the greatest liar in the world, and since they exist in different fictional worlds, all could be the right answer. But then there’s Loki, a character who has to put in effort to actually speak the truth. Or perhaps Severus Snape, who LIVED a lie, surrounded by mystical beings who could divine a normal wizard’s intentions in a heartbeat. The fact that there’s a surfeit of possible candidates for today’s MS-QOTD probably says something about modern pop culture, but it at least makes for a sporting take on today’s untrustworthy query…
The MS-QOTD (pronounced, as always, “misquoted”) will always argue John Constantine, even complaining about the pronunciation, but still reminding Faithful Spoilerites that he lied to not one, not TWO but THREE literal devils, asking: What fictional character is the greatest liar in the world?

Elushe aka Tekiotl, because boy did I never see that one coming. In fact, it seems like everyone, except Rodrigo, was really surprised at that turn of events.
The Doctor.
