Last night, Lucasfilm released a new trailer for Solo: A Star Wars Story, and for those wondering if Ron Howard could bring a solid film to the screen, the answer appears to be, “Yes.”

Solo has moved from a “Yeah, maybe I’ll see it,” to a movie that looks like it has a solid premise and looks to be a rockin’ good time. A lot of people poo-pooed Rogue One, but it turned out to be a great movie. I have a feeling that Solo, even with its troubled production with Ron Howard stepping in after original directors Phil Lord and Christopher Miller were fired from the project, requiring extensive reshoots.
