7) BUZZ LIGHTYEAR
‘Buzz Lightyear Of Star Command” features the cartoon adventures of the deuteragonist of the ‘Toy Story’ films, clearly meant to be the fictional in-universe tales to help sell Buzz’s action figures. A part of the ‘One Saturday Morning’ block, the series serves as a reminder to me of how there used to be cartoon blocks on weekend mornings, which makes me feel even older than the ending of ‘Toy Story 3.’
Aaaanywaaay, Andy probably totally watched this cartoon when he was a kid, is what I’m saying.

Good list! When I saw the topic, the Brown Hornet was the first thing to pop into my mind.
One fun also-ran that just popped into my head:
Captain Avenger – the character played by John Ritter’s character in the 1980 film Hero At Large. The story is about an actor playing a hero who stops a robbery in real life while wearing his hero costume, and all the things that fall out from that.
