With the Hasbro Universe now a shared universe, and IDW Publishing cornering the market on the comic book versions of these properties, it only makes sense that M.A.S.K. would get the comic book treatment.
“We are so proud to be able to continue growing the impressive relationship between IDW Publishing and Hasbro with this new M.A.S.K. comic series,” said IDW Managing Editor David Hedgecock. “We can’t wait to bring the high-octane, unique, brand of storytelling to this book that we know fans of M.A.S.K. will expect!”
IDW Publishing is planning on being faithful to the source material by keeping it old school, while slowly “adding modern sensibilities.”
M.A.S.K. launches in November as an ongoing series featuring cover art by Tommy Lee Edwards. Brandon Easton will write the series, with Tony Vargas as the series artist.

I just rewatched the TV episodes last month. I’m actually looking forward to this.
