DC Entertainment’s first panel at WonderCon (hosted by Jason Inman) gave fans a behind the scenes look at DC All Access, upcoming projects from Vertigo, and that giant LEGO Bat Signal on display on the show.
The panel included Vertigo Executive Editor Shelly Bond, writer J.T. Krul, artists Ming Doyle, Jason Fabok, Mitch Gerads, and Annie Wu, and LEGO artist Nathan Sawaya.
With the launch of Batman v Superman, the panel kicked off with the trailers from the movie, with Sawaya talking about the process of building the LEGO displays at the DC booth, and his book, the Art of the Brick.
Annie Wu discussed Black Canary, while JT Krul showed off pages from the upcoming Bloodlines book.
Ming Doyle was able to show off pages from Constantine: The Hellblazer #11.
Vertigo editor, Shelly Bond talked up Unfollow, Clean Room, Lucifer, and The Dark and Bloody, and debuted the first interior pages from Paul Dini’s Dark Knight: A True Batman Story.
The panel wrapped following a quick discussion about the popular DC Superhero Girls line.
