When you were discussing the Lucifer series pilot and the trope of “supernatural asshole works with hot lady cop to fight evil”, I was surprised not to hear anyone mention Angel. But that’s probably because I’ve been re-watching Buffy and Angel in broadcast order over the past few weeks.
