The various worlds of our fictions are chockful of mighty warriors wielding legendary implements of battle: Fergus mac Róich, whose blade Caladbolg could take the top off of a hill; El Cid, whose mighty sword Tizona terrified all unworthy opponents; Drizzt Do’Urden, whose terrible swords Icingdeath and Sprinkletoppingpain may not both be real. Even unnamed weapons can be impressive, as with Aquaman’s ornate trident, Deadpool’s armory or Mrs. Peel’s left and right hands (simultaneously deadly and beautifully manicured) leasing us to today’s fully-armed and operational query…
The MS-QOTD (pronounced, as always, “misquoted”) will probably be leaping (or at least lumbering) into battle with Kavin Matchstick’s magical baseball bat, asking: Which single implement, of all the myriad Legendary Weapons of lore, would you want for your own?

Mjolnir.
Has both offensive and defensive capabilities, and also allows the holder an approximation of flight.
Just have to figure out to get around that whole ‘worthy’ thing…
I’ve always really enjoyed Captain America’s shield. The shield is almost invulnerable, can rebound most anything shot at me and can bounce it between a bunch of goons an right back to me.
