When Zack Snyder announced the sequel to Man of Steel, fans didn’t realize how far along the pre-production process was. We know Ben Affleck has been cast as Batman, with Henry Cavill returning as Superman, but what we didn’t know was parts of the film will begin shooting this weekend in Los Angeles.
The scene revolves around game played between Gotham University and Metropolis State College. Latino Review first noticed the news, which appeared in the East Los Angeles College Campus News.
More than likely nothing will involve the big stars, but rather set-up for a bigger scene.
The Man of Steel sequel is scheduled to arrive in theaters on July 17, 2015.
