Kotobukiya has announced Wonder Woman is getting the next Bishoujo treatment.
Since her comic book debut in 1941, Princess Diana has been an icon of female power, intelligence, and grace. Arriving in “man’s world” from the Amazonian island home of Themyscira, Diana donned a red, white and blue costume to protect the world as Wonder Woman! The timeless character appears for the first time in the Japanese bishoujo (pretty girl) style inspired by Japan’s renowned illustrator Shunya Yamashita.

The statue stands just over 9-inches tall and includes a spear, shield, cape, and helmet. DC Comics Wonder Woman Bishoujo Statue arrives in May for $59.99.

Cute, but the belly button on the belt looks odd
nice. i want this and the batgirl.
I have to admit, this is pretty badass.
Though, I do agree with DanJr that the belly button is very strange.
I third that the belty-button is odd, but the detail is amazing. I want this one and Emma Frost, and maybe the Phoenix one too.
Fine… I’l say it: vagina belt.
Nice BUT shouldn’t this have been in the want list? Did the show get cancelled or what??? It was awesome bring it back Stephen!!!!
it’s not canceled, we’ve just had four weeks of studio and schedule conflicts that have prevented me from recording a bunch of new episodes. And just because it shows up on the site, doesn’t mean it isn’t going to show up on The Want List.
Glad to hear that the Want List isn’t gone. I loved that feature.
On topic: This statue is beautiful! I wouldn’t mind buying this for a friend.
The entire girdle is off. Not only the belly button but the small Cap/Batman pouches are also out of place. That’s the only thing that messes up the statue’s color scheme.
I am Wonder Woman
Only thing I could really focus on was the belly button too. It’s a pretty neat statue though. The other thing was that I thought that the face is a little pale and plastic-y. Maybe some of the others have looked the same but I haven’t noticed.
