Yes, issue #22 of Batman: The Brave and the Bold is ending in November. The good news is The All-New Batman: The Brave and the Bold is headed our way from writer Sholly Fisch and Rick Burchett. The first two issues feature Superman and Shazam! teaming with the caped crusader. And by Shazam! I’m hoping DC really means Captain Marvel and not the wizard Shazam, but really, Batman teaming with the wizard would be pretty cool, too.

I’m kinda confused, it’s not the Brave and the Bold cartoon you’re talking about I assume. I know you said “issue” but just listening to your podcasts, you use “issues and episodes” so interchangeably for comics and cartoons that I wanted to verify. The character designs in your picture looks like the cartoon, but I had been getting the Brave and the Bold comics for the past 2 years or so and they never looked that cartoony, is this a different one maybe modeled after the cartoon that I probably just don’t know anything about?
