Major Spoilers Costume Contest 2009: Where are they now?

allenspiderman.jpg

I was super pleased with all the entries we received for the 2008 Major Spoilers Costume Contest.  Since then, many of our contestents went on to enter costumes contests from “other” publishers.  Allen Hansard entered with his Spider-Man costume, and won the Wizard Costume Contest and the YouTube Costume Contest as well.

His brother just dropped off a pic of Allen atop the Empire State Building.

Too Cool!  Thanks for sending this pic our way Adam!

Take the jump to see Allen’s YouTube entry.

MSP#48: Hollywood Knights (of the Old Republic)

Major Spoilers Podcast #48

This week’s ephemera: Former Captain America Steve Rogers is STILL dead, but at least he’s out of development hell! It’s night in Hyboria… do you know where your children are? And, cyborg versus cyborg in a no-holds barred chair-swinging extravaganza smackdown. Plus: all hell breaks loose, the pulps rise again, Archie’s girlfriend gets a new paint job, and… begun, this clone war has. Or, begun it will have been someday, this after which we are living now, or began, however that sentence did. Hmm.

Major Spoilers Costume Contest 2008: Meet the Entrants

picon01.jpg

Oh boy, did we get a lot of people entering the second annual Major Spoilers Costume Contest.  There were over 50 entries from 20 entrants (yes, some people entered multiple times).  Personally, I think all those who entered the contest deserve kudos for taking the time to make their costume and sending it out for the world to see.  You can tell some of the entrants spent a great deal of time on their costumes, and really get into their work.

Without further ado, take the jump to see all the entrants for this year’s contest.

UPDATE:  Voting is now open!
