When the screaming starts, hit the kill switch Of the three Atomic Robo story arcs we’ve been presented with so far, this one has been the one to really warp your mind to the point where you had better understand a little about theoretical physics, or know all the intricacies of Back to the Future 1, 2, and 3, plus the animated series, and that ride at Universal Studios in order to keep your sanity.  It helps of course that the creators inject their likeness into the story to really tie it together nicely.

The Doom that Came to Robo So here we go with the second installment of the Shadow from Beyond Time story line.  If you thought the first issue didn’t have enough of the fighty-fighty, and the laughy-laughy, then you’re going to be pleased as Punch (although without the murder and infanticide), as Robo and Charles Fort attempt to bring down the monster Lovecraft with a roadster and a couple of lightning guns.

Probably the best first week news of 2009 – Brian Clevinger and Scott Wegener are working on getting the third and fourth volumes of Atomic Robo in our greasy little hands this year. Beyond that we’ve got Volume 3, Atomic Robo and the Shadow From Beyond Time coming up for pre-order in…uh…weeks? Months? Not 100% on that one. It’s soon though, I promise you that!
