Comic book convention season is here! So many conventions, so much to do… so little time. With a convention happening nearly every weekend in numerous cities across the country, there really is little excuse to pack up the family and head to a convention, right? VOTE! [poll id=”572″]

March is here and the tournament season is in full swing as teams from across the country compete for dominance in the arena! Over in the comic book world, we’re still stuck with the age-old question, “Trunks, or no trunks?”
Did you hear that director Steven Spielberg wants to propose a rule change for the Academy Awards? According to Indiewire, the proposal would require any film being considered for an OSCAR will need to have an exclusive theatrical window (of at least 90-days). This would certainly have put Roma out of the running this year, and might cause all sorts of conflicts when Martin Scorsese’s The Irishman lands on the Netflix streaming service. VOTE! Over the last couple of weeks, nearly every part of the United States of America has received snow, from the 7+ inches received in Hays, Kansas, to snow falling in Las Vegas, NV, and the traffic shutdown deluge in the Northeast. We all need to get out there and clean our driveways and sidewalks, and there are definitely some tools that are better suited to the task than others. VOTE! [poll id=”569″]
Would you rather age at a normal rate, but be able to time travel, or would you rather travel to any place in space, but never age at all?
The World of Sid and Marty Krofft is a mixed bag of some very interesting shows, and a bunch of stuff you would just as soon pull the covers over your head and skip Saturday morning completely.
Which fast food mascot is creepier?
Which game would you recommend?
For whatever reason, I discovered we have two Xbox One systems in the household, along with two Switch systems, one PS4, three Nintendo DS units, and a Wii. I think it has something to do with brothers wanting to play different games at the same time, or the same game at the same time in the case of Fortnite. Of all of the systems, the Switch and PS4 seem to get the most screen time, leading us to this week’s Poll of the Week. VOTE! [poll id=”564″]
It is a brand new year, and that can only mean one thing – SUPERFIGHT! Yes, the game that has brought us hundreds of minutes of amusement and entertainment at Major Spoilers is back – but with a twist. Superfight continues to release expansions, and over the holiday, I discovered the Street Fighter Expansion Deck. We’re diving into the character pile, and randomly drawing from the powers pile and having the characters fight to the virtual game death! VOTE! [poll id=”563″]
Way back in the day, I was lucky enough to get nearly all of the original Star Wars action figures in one big lump on Christmas Day. Princess Leia, the Storm Troopers, the Jawas, and the droids arrived as a stocking stuffer, while Luke, Han, and Chewbacca landed as a group package. Obi-Wan was positioned under the tree inside the Land Speeder next to a Sand People, but the best was seeing Darth Vader inside the Tie-Fighter next to the fireplace.* Today, instead of Star Wars, maybe the young at heart are getting Avengers action figures. We are so happy we have wonderful Spoilerites checking out our site, engaging us on social media, listening to our shows, and supporting our work. Personally, I would say all of our Spoilerites deserve to be on the Nice List. But I am not the jolly old elf sitting at the top of the world checking his list twice.
With the holiday season upon us, some people are required to work through the holiday, while others will often take weeks of vacation. At Major Spoilers we try to keep our holiday breaks to a minimum, but we wonder what you, our favorite Spoilerite has planned. Will you be taking a long winter’s nap, or will your holiday be a fast and furious one? VOTE! [poll id=”560″]
Word broke last week that Netflix was working on a live-action adaptation of the ever-popular Cowboy Bebop animated series. Some have expressed outrage, others concern, and still, others are completely behind the announcement.
