While neither of Sherlock’s two stars, Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman, were able to make it to San Diego this weekend, they did send in videos to be played before the panel. That video, and some of the questions from the panel will be up after the jump.

Diamond Select Toys has a slew of new Marvel Minimates on display. Ranging from summer movies to summer events and anything in between there are dozens of new figures coming out later this year. We have some pics of the floor display after the jump.
Some figures for the Batman: Arkham Origins line had already been announced, such as Batman, Black Mask, and Joker. DC Collectibles has announced a few more and has all of the figures on display in San Diego. Fortunately for those of us playing at home, there are pictures of them after the jump.

Check out photos from last night’s unveiling of The Walking Dead Zombie Survival Machine at the Future US Booth at San Diego Comic-Con. The event was hosted by Tekzilla’s Veronica Belmont with an appearance by The Walking Dead creator, Robert Kirkman. The Veloster Zombie Survival Machine was created by Galpin Auto Sports in collaboration with Hyundai, The Walking Dead and Future US.
Directed by Oscar nominee Terry Gilliam (Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas), THE ZERO THEOREM revolves around an eccentric and reclusive computer genius (two-time Oscar winner Christoph Waltz) plagued with existential angst who works on a mysterious project aimed at discovering the purpose of existence or the lack thereof once and for all. However, it is only once he experiences the power of love and desire that he is able to understand his very reason for being. And we have a couple pictures from the set after the jump.
Among the myriad of events and ideas being shown at SDCC, some very interesting smaller projects can get overlooked. The Sidekick here is one of those projects, and everyone should take the jump to check out the trailer and some of the press information for the short film.
