Before the 2012 apocalypse arrives, expect every comic book hero and heroine to get the adult film treatment. See? I used “adult film” instead of “porn” or “porno” for those companies that block Major Spoilers every time COMPLETELY SAFE FOR WORK XXX content appears on the front page… …What!? The first trailer for the animated Arnold Schwarzenegger/Stan Lee Governator movie has arrived.

I guess people are still watching Saturday Night Live, I haven’t watched it since the last ’80s when they had that up and coming star Eddie Murphy on the show…Oh, wait. I wasn’t born until 1985… Elton John was on the show this past weekend, and when opportunity knocks, Elton takes a moment to poke fun at Spider-Man, the musical.

Wow.  Image Comics just caused me a moments pause with mouth agape with this image teasing something interesting going on in Invincible in 2012. What does it mean, Robert Kirkman? What does it mean!? Let the speculation spectacular begin! Of course it is still April 1st… I’m also betting that if you are at WonderCon, you’ll get some more answers.

How do you take a one-trick movie premise and turn it into a sequel? Who do I look like, Spielberg? Willis? Rambo? Why are you asking me? Oh right… The much talked about Hangover sequel finally gets an official trailer, and though it doesn’t feature Bill Clinton, it does feature a monkey in someone’s pants. I laughed so hard, my morning blueberry muffin came shooting out of my nose. Yes. I will see this movie. I must see this movie. I can’t wait to live out this movie over the weekend.

Remember when Leonard Nimoy said he was retiring from acting, then he showed up on Fringe?  Yeah… good times. Remember, after his appearances on Fringe, he said he was retiring again?  Turns out the script for Transformers: Dark of the Moon is so F-ing incredible that Nimoy has come out of retirement to provide the voice of Sentinel Prime. I’m not the biggest fan of sequels.  Everyone knows Breakin’ was better than Breakin’ 2: Electric Boogaloo. No. It was. Shut up Rodrigo.  For years now, Disney has been releasing sequels to some of its most loved animated movies, and once they got their mitts on Pixar, the 3-D animation house surprisingly started up sequels there, too. Pixar and Disney have announced Monsters 2, now titled Monster University, will feature the return of Billy Crystal and John Goodman in their original roles.  The company also announced Dan Scanlon will be directing the feature. Don’t know how I missed this bit of news – oh, wait… I do… (shudder).  Anyway… If you are doing the potty dance in anticipation of Warner Bros. Green Lantern movie, here’s a bit of news that will give you that bladder spasm you so badly need. Geoffrey Rush is voicing Tomar-Re. Supergirl: An Extreme Comixxx Parody is currently shooting somewhere in California at this very moment (unless you are looking at this in the future, at which point the shoot is probably over…Hello Future People… or something). Hey pervs purveyors of parody films featuring people getting nekkid;  looks like we’ll be deluged with XXX parodies this year.  Over the weekend, I made a point to show off the  Justice League XXX: An Extreme Comixxx Parody, and today we have news that Axel Braun will be giving it to the Star Wars universe with Star Wars XXX: A Porn Parody… IN THREE-DEE! Braun and Vivid Entertainment were auditioning actors last week, and have narrowed it down to some new-ish stars, and some old favorites, including Lexington Steele as Darth Vader. Axel Braun Productions and Vivid Entertainment aren’t stopping with the pron parodies, and the next film is a parody of the horror genre with Scream XXX: A Porn Parody.  This tickles my funny bone because Scream was basically a riff itself. “Given the comedic tone of the original, the movie-within-a movie elements of the sequels, and the upcoming release of the fourth installment, “Scream” seemed like a natural project to put under the parody spotlight,” said Braun.
