Looks like the Teen Titans are headed to the big screen (again) in a live-action adaptation of the DC Comics heroes.
In an article at The Hollywood Reporter, Ana Nogueira has been tapped to write the script. She is also writing Supergirl: Worman of Tomorrow for the big screen as well.
Though the Teen Titans have been in comics since the 1960s, the team of sidekicks turned lead characters didn’t go big until the Marv Wolfman and George Perez reboot in the 1980s. The Teen Titans have been in several animated series, and a live-action television show, as well as Teen Titans Go! To the Movies in 2018.
Since this is an initial announcement, there are no stars attached to the movie, no director, etc. And because this is the initial announcement, don’t be surprised if the players change several times before the movie (rather – IF – the movie) hits the screen.
