DC Comics announced more details regarding the universe wide event called Flashpoint. This isn’t some parallel Earth story, it will take place in the main DCU, and based on the first round of event mini-series released, Flashpoint will span at least 47 issues.
Whatever Happened to Gotham City?
FLASHPOINT: BATMAN KNIGHT OF VENGEANCE #1-#3
FLASHPOINT: DEADMAN AND THE FLYING GRAYSONS #1-#3
Whatever Happened to the World’s Greatest Super Villains?
FLASHPOINT: CITIZEN COLD #1-#3
FLASHPOINT: DEATHSTROKE & THE CURSE OF THE RAVAGER #1-#3
FLASHPOINT: THE OUTSIDER #1-#3
Whatever Happened to the Aliens?
FLASHPOINT: ABIN SUR THE GREEN LANTERN #1-#3
FLASHPOINT: PROJECT: SUPERMAN #1-#3
Whatever Happened to Science & Magic?
FLASHPOINT: FRANKENSTEIN & THE CREATURES OF THE UNKNOWN #1-#3
FLASHPOINT: SECRET SEVEN #1-#3
Whatever Happened to Europe?
FLASHPOINT: EMPEROR AQUAMAN #1-#3
FLASHPOINT: WONDER WOMAN AND THE FURIES #1-#3
FLASHPOINT: LOIS LANE AND THE RESISTANCE #1-#3
Everything You Know Will Change in a Flash
FLASHPOINT: KID FLASH LOST #1-#3
FLASHPOINT: THE WORLD OF FLASHPOINT #1-#3
Add to this the five issue Flashpoint, by Geoff Johns, Andy Kubert, and Sandra Hope, and the scope and size of the event is starting to take shape. If just under 50 issues seems daugnting, DC hasn’t announced the one-shots or the one additional mini-series.
It’s a good thing the company is holding the line at $2.99, because right now, if you buy everything announced, you’ll be shelling out $140 to find out what happens.

that is alot of issues, am still very excited to read this event unlike the last couple
“Flash a-ah savior of the multiverse!”
He’ll save everyone of us!
Otherwise, outside of MAYBE Secret Seven, I’ll pass.
I’m thinking the same, Secret Six is such a fun read I might have to check that out.
Does anyone think they’ll freeze the regular ongoings in lieu of these titles…? That would save my wallet…which is already quite thin.
Jim Lee artwork?
No, No, and No. I hate you Barry Allen.
Amen. Preach it, brotha.
I’ll pass as well. I really hate these big massive cross-overs… almost as much as I’ve hated the return of Barry Allen.

I’ll wait for the collected trade paperback.
See you guys in 47 issues or so. I hear there’s a nice place for “uninterrupted, engaging and fulfilling storylines” down at ________________ this time of year.
So this is DC’s “House of M”?
Maybe you can call it “House of Flash” or “House of Cash”. 140 $ worth of tie ins is a lot. That’s why “tie in” and “fill in” are my least favorite words in the comic language.
These comic companies are just in it for the money these days !! That’s why I’ll just wait for the Graphic Novel and buy it even cheaper on Ebay !!!! HAHAHAHAHA !!!
It’s just getting rediculous… they’re not even collectible like they were 20 years ago.. not worth the money !!
I’ll just follow along with the reviews and updates on this site. Blackest Night and Brightest Day haven’t been too bad to keep up with, but this event doesn’t seem like it’s going to affect most of the titles I care about…. Still, it’s nice to see Aquaman and Deadman get some featured titles again….
So excited for this event. Glad to see they aren’t afraid of big things.
Day one!
About the only one that tweaked my “don’t wait for the trade” interest was Wonder Woman & the Furies. Other than that, I will wait for the trade if it’s any good or pass altogether if it’s crap. With DC, it’s very hit or miss, and when it’s this big & this hyped, it’s more likely to be a miss.
I honestly don’t care about the antcelarry books, I’m just stiking to the main mini.
It’s still a lot fewer issues than Blackest Night or Brightest Day had with all their tie-in books.
Ok, some of the titles look interesting but, really, how many times do you “remake” the multiverse, then the single universe, then the 52verse? I don’t mind crossovers but crossovers that continually affect “reality” (if it’s fictional reality is it actually reality?) are getting a bit worn.
And starting this off before “Brightest Day” is even wrapped up is confusing.
But, it beats anything going on at Marvel so, I’ll follow for now.
This doesnt have anything to do with Blackest Night.
And altered reality is a comics staple and has Ben for decades. It would seem you’re shouting at the wind.
Ugh… I suppose we’ll see how this turns out.
DC’s “Ca$hpoint.”
Well the *are* a business so they can hardly be faulted in trying to earn more of our dollars. ;)
so who’s the swordsman up there? Orm?
yeah, I think I’ll either wait for these to be traded as only a few seem to tickle my fancy. I passed on a few of those BN minis and was going to get the “resurrected” one-shots trade, but still haven’t. meh.
I wonder how many waves of figures DC Direct will be able to get out of this one?
Ooohhh Nnoooooo!!!!!
not another shitty final crisis.
no dc you wont get my money cos I have been conned already!!!
and thats the for marble comics!
How will this affect the Green Lantern War?
