Nove Series Announced at Disney+
Over the weekend Deadline announced Disney+ and Marvel Studios was developing a Nova (and they specify Richie Rider!), project from Moon Knight and Ms. Marvel writer Sabir PIrzada (Person of Interest). They do not specify whether or not this is a streaming show or feature.
Richard Rider aka Nova looks to be joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe as sources tell Deadline that Marvel is developing a Nova project with Moon Knight scribe Sabir Pirzada on board to write. It is unknown for now whether this will be developed as a feature film or a limited series for Disney+. As always, Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige will produce.
Pirzada celebrated the announcement on social media and the subsequent release of Moon Knight which hit Disney+ this week to critical and fan acclaim:

Sonic 2 Gets Strong Box Office Start Overseas
Sonic the Hedgehog 2 has debuted internationally ahead of its April 8th American release date and Deadline is reporting a good box office showing for the sequel to arguably the best video game movie of all time in Europe.
Paramount’s Sonic The Hedgehog 2 ran off with a $1.2M No. 1 start in France on Wednesday as the sequel begins early rollout at the international box office this weekend. In France, the little blue critter topped the previous film’s first day holiday release in the market by 30%.
Theatrical releases appear to be switching to an international than domestic release, versus the same day streaming approach we enjoyed for major motion pictures in late 2020 through 2021.
It appears Sony’s Morbius (currently enjoying negative – middling reviews across social media and publications), may have genre competition in the month of April after all.

I know a lot of people will immediately claim that they will not watch the GoT series because of how the first one ended but I will definitely give the first few episodes a shot. If anything the visuals look great. Let’s hope for the best.
