Does anyone know if Liberty Meadows is offically kaput? I think the last issue (#37, I believe) came out a few years ago, but even before then the release schedule was a bit chaotic.
I think Frank Cho just sort of dropped it after he signed on with Marvel. I don’t mind, honestly, since the humor in the strip was starting to take a backseat to the death march of the Brandy/the Vet/Jenn/Brandy’s hunky ex love quandrangle.
The only way I would be interested in Liberty Meadows is if Cho is putting new material, not reprints.
Every time I talked to Cho about it at a con, he’d say he was working on the next issue. It’s probably been 2+ years since I saw him last and that was still his story then.
I don’t understand trying to get readership interested in a comic that is not currently ongoing. I guess there are some trades they can pick up.
