If you are interested in inter-galactic rock and roll cyborgs, and you are a fan of The Go-Go’s, Lady Robotika creator Jane Wiedlin will be signing copies at Atlantis Fantasyworld and Whatever Store on Friday, July 16, and Saturday July 17, 2010.

WHO: Lady Robotika, the inter-galactic rock ‘n roll sexy cyborg heroine, is the brainchild of Jane Wiedlin (legendary guitarist for the Go-Go’s) and Bill Morrison (Eisner Award-winning creative behind The Simpsons Comics, Futurama Comics, Roswell, Little Green Man and Heroes Anonymous), and she makes her debut in comic stores nationwide on July 14.
WHAT: In celebration of the comic book’s release, co-creators Wiedlin, aka Lady Robotika, and Bill Morrison, will be making two appearances at Bay Area comic shops to sign copies of Lady Robotika issue #1, “Slaveship to the Stars!”, and meet and greet fans.
One fan at each event will win a limited-edition autographed poster of Lady Robotika “Machina ex Femina.”

On Saturday, October 22, 2011 Atlantis Fantasyworld hosted a very special apppearance by Maurice LaMarche, winner of the 2011 Emmy Award for Best Voiceover Performance for his work on Futurama. Maurice can be heard on many commercials and some of your favorite cartoons, but is best known as the voice of The Brain, from the 1990s cartoon Pinky and the Brain.

UGH…enough of these vanity projects where the main character looks like the “celebrity”…dont get me wrong love the go gos and jane is a hoot but really, whos buying these? whatshisname from heroes, levar burton, tyrese gibson and micheal chiklas all have one now…whos next???
