Jack Kirby and Joe Simon created the Fighting American in May 1954. Now, 63 years later, Titan Comics bring the “embodiment of the homegrown, god-fearing, patriotic, apple pie-eating American superhero” back to comic shops.
Scheduled to arrive on October 11, 2017, Joe Simon’s birthday, The Fighting American brings “a tongue-in-cheek irreverence to the world of two-fisted action and its mix of outlandish, satirical humor went on to establish Fighting American as a true American hero.”
The series is written by Gordon Rennie, with art by Duke Mighten. For the first issue, Titan has hired Terry and Rachel Dodson to provide the cover art.
