We’re just a few weeks away from the Netflix debut of Luke Cage, erstwhile Hero For Hire, once known to the world as “Power Man.” Throughout his career, Luke has had several different super-aliases (indeed, ‘Cage’ is itself an alias, as his birth name is Carl Lucas), none of which have been all that successful. Going by one’s real name isn’t really a game-breaker for a superhero (Jessica Jones pulled it off, while Tod Holton, Super Green Beret didn’t), I’ve always felt that Luke deserves that little something extra a great nom de guerre can provide, leading us to today’s “Sweet Christmas” query…
The MS-QOTD (pronounced, as always, “misquoted”) can see both sides of this argument, but really REALLY wants the tiara back, asking: In your opinion, should former Power Man Luke Cage use a super-alias or not?

Maybe not if hes on his own in street level story. As soon as he’s with a group of people using them, then sure.
Of course. It’s all about the branding. If you needed to hire a Hero, would you rather spend your money on a “Power Man” or a “Luke Cage?”
