With ‘Suicide Squad’ making serious bank at the box office, in spite of negative reviews, it’s interesting to see people idealizing the unhealthy relationship between Harley Quinn and The Joker. For my money, I’ve long preferred Harley’s on-again, off-again romantic partnership with Poison Ivy, where things may not be perfectly healthy, but it’s at least difficult to see the whole interaction as Stockholm Syndrome. Recent portrayals in the comics have finally started catching up with the subtext that Harley and Ivy have had since the 1990s, making it one of the few situations where I will engage in legitimate ‘shipping, leading us to today’s paramourical query…
The MS-QOTD (pronounced, as always, “misquoted”) also thinks that Dr. Isley is more Dr. Quinzel’s intellectual equal, asking: Harley and Joker or Harley and Ivy?

Definitely Harley and Ivy. Joker was characters origin, its not necessary to return to that anymore. Like Uncle Ben or Waynes.
Definitely Harley and Ivy. They compliment each other quite well, at least in the way I see their relationship as it has been portrayed.
The Harley and the Ivy is a great classic X-mas song, so I’d have to go with that one.
What?
Harley and Ivy works best with Ivy being the straight man to silly Harley.
Harley vs. Ivy without a doubt.
