Math Checking Matthew: 1988 was only 25 years ago, not 35
We’ll just cut that part out. :)
It could be 35 years ago if you spent 10 of those 25 years time-travelling, it’ll just still be 25 years ago to the rest of us.
Good episode!
If I remember correctly, the Cold Flame has been mentioned in passing ina bunch of the Justice League Dark episodes. At first I thought that they were just there to reinforce the Books of Magic reference but I’m glad that they are getting some real attention here.
The reveal of Zatara as bad guy was pretty interesting. Zatanna has mentioned in a couple places that she regards her father as a hero who was murdered (most recently in Justice League 18) so her investigations could create some fun conflict with Constantine.
When the new Sargon appeared, I read her not as “daughter continuing family business” but as “magical psycho who pushed his consciousness into a descendant” If I’m right, that could also create some interesting Zatanna drama.
I’m definitely on board for this arc.
I haven’t read it. Did she claim to be a daughter, or could she just be the New 52 version of Sargon?
So Zach on film has its own RSS feed but Dueling reviews still doesn’t?
Not yet.
=(
This is the official first monthly I have ever bought. You guys have turned me on to comics and when I went into a shop for the first time last week I saw that and remembering how much Matthew liked Constantine thought it would be worth a pick up to get in on the ground floor as it were.
I really enjoy this and I feel like there is a story coming out here and I can’t wait to see more. Though I have no idea how you guys do this month by month thing, it is really hard to wait.
