I’ve been saying for years that publishers need to advertise on television and in the theaters, and slowly, they’ve started to do that. DC Comics has launched a television commercial to promote the upcoming Before Watchmen series, which begins to arrive in stores this week.

So….Dr. Manhattan used clothing Before Watchmen?
Actually yah, he did. In the book you see it – as he progressively turned away from humanity over the years, he wore less and less clothes, until finally it was always naked time for him.
It’s just odd seeing comics advertised on TV. Never used to see that, so I hadn’t yet developed that jaded edge to it. It seems new and raw.
Definitely a step in the right direction. If only it wasn’t Watchmen’s unwanted prequels getting advertised.
